634 companies selling more with fewer people
Revenue rose and the headcount it filed fell between its last two annual reports, so each employee now brings in more.

How this list is built
The headcount is the number of employees each annual report filed, a year apart, and revenue is from the income statement for the same period end. A company whose headcount more than halved or whose revenue more than doubled is left out: that is a sale, a spin-off or an acquisition, not a leaner business. The screen: companies listed on United States, holding at least one filed statement, with blank-check shells and statements under international standards left out so every company is measured the same way; a median daily traded value of at least 250,000 US dollars over 90 sessions, stated in each listing's own currency, so a company nobody can trade is never on the list; and no positive price to earnings under 1, which no real company earns, and no close sitting the whole of its own 52-week high below that high, which no listing that still trades can do. 3,523 companies passed tonight. Each market is ranked on its own and never added to another. Figures as recomputed on 2026-11-07.
