What can actually be checked on the companies you own

The middle company in this catalogue publishes 7 of the 13 ratios the catalogue holds a column for. 272 publish every one and 271 publish none. A review starts there, not with a verdict.

Each row below counts companies, never listings: one company that trades on two lines is one row. The two are different numbers and this page never turns one into the other.

Notes on this count

The columns are the catalogue’s own, read out of the payload, so a ratio added there is counted here the day it ships. A ratio priced off today’s quote and one read off the last annual report are on two different clocks, and the row says which, because a recomputed figure is not a fresh quote.

Notes on this count

Read at request time from the one endpoint allowed to state a count. The price overlay behind any chart is five years by decision, and that is a separate limit from the ten years of accounts.

What is deliberately absent

No portfolio score is printed here, and none is coming. A single figure would have to decide that clearing one investor’s published test and clearing another’s are worth the same, and decide what an unreadable figure contributes to a total. Neither question has an answer, so neither is invented: what you get is counts, per test, with anything unreadable named beside them.

Nor are there weights. Nothing here asks how many shares you hold, so anything that needs a position size, a return or a concentration measured by value is left out and said so rather than estimated from a number you never gave us.

What this page cannot tell you

Counting what can be read is not the same as reading it. This page says how much of the market is measurable; it says nothing about the companies you actually own, and a review you run once is a photograph of a day. The thing that breaks a holding is usually not the figure you checked in the week you bought it.

Put your list through the audit at no charge; it names every figure it could not read, with the reason. Reading what you hold as one portfolio comes with Serious. The calendar comes with Professional: you write down, in your own words, why you hold each company and which numbers have to stay true for that reason to survive. A rule can watch the latest close as well as the accounts.

Every guardrail you have saved is re-tested every night against newly filed accounts, and you get one email the first night one breaks, naming the company, the reading and the filing it came from. What to do about it is yours. It comes with Professional.

The check runs every night at 23:30 UTC. A filing is picked up the night after it is published.

The audit needs no account. A new account starts with 30 days of Professional, no card.

Meeting a test is not a reason to buy. Every count above is read from the public endpoints when the page is built, never typed into it: the whole table is at the company catalogue and every formula is at methodology.

No portfolio of yours was read to build any count above.

The limits of what this tool can tell you

Once a week, what changed in the filings of US-listed companies, why it can matter to a thesis, and what deserves a closer review. Grounded in filings, not market noise.
