How the writing here gets published

The research notes, academy lessons and comparisons here are published under my name, Javier Sanz, and I answer for them as their publisher. Who I am is on the about page. Each step below runs today.

Where the figures come from

Its source trail
On a company page, a figure's source trail opens for an account in its trial or on a subscription. There, a figure read from a filing shows its formula and inputs, each naming the form, the fiscal year and the filing date; one taken as reported says so.
In a piece
A count of this product's coverage should carry the day it was taken: read live when the page is served, or typed with its date. The content checks fail one typed as current in a wording they know, and a live read that fails prints n/a.
Behind a note
Each research note keeps the saved result of the query it was written from, and a deploy stops if a published note has none.

Before a piece goes live

The date
Pieces are written ahead and released from a queue. Each carries the day it went live, and a deploy stops if that date is earlier than the day its file entered the repository.
The wording
The content checks run before anything publishes. A fixed list of recommendation phrases fails them, and one failure holds back the day's release.
The deploy
A deploy of the site stops on a fixed list of phrasings that call a fair value ours or revive the retired twenty-four-hour alert guarantee, and on a published link to a page that no longer exists.
What the checks cannot do
They match wording against fixed lists, and check dates and links. They cannot prove a figure in a note matches its filing; the source trail above is how to check that.

When a figure is wrong

Reporting it
Use the report control at the foot of a source trail, the message bubble when it shows, or email hello@valuescreener.ai.
Publishing it
A correction that affects other readers is published on the accuracy page, with what the figure read, what it reads now and the filing it is read from.

Conflicts

What I hold
What I hold in the companies covered here is declared, with the date it was confirmed, on the positions page.

Once a week, what changed in the filings of US-listed companies, why it can matter to a thesis, and what deserves a closer review. Grounded in filings, not market noise.
